About the Pitch Competition:

A total of 15 minority- and women-owned companies will complete a short presentation during one of three pitch categories that occur throughout the summit: food and beverage; product innovation and technology; and health, wellness and beauty category. Five companies will present in each pitch category.* This fun competition gives attendees the chance to be inspired by other small businesses and learn about local brands!

A panel of judges will select one grand prize winner to earn $30,000. Plus, one business from each pitch category will be selected to win $5,000. Additional cash investments will be awarded and select finalists may be invited to participate in a roundtable meeting following the summit.

*All businesses submitting an application to pitch must have their corporate office or manufacturing facility in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, or Wisconsin.
